WUP Access is a family-run American business with roots in the vibrant Miami area. Over 20 years ago, we started as a small sound and lighting company known as “Word Up Sound and Light.” Through hard work and dedication, we grew into a powerhouse production company, providing sound, lighting, and staging for major acts performing across South Florida.
As our reputation grew, so did our ambitions. We began designing and manufacturing our own branded professional lights and special effects, now featured in concerts and nightclubs worldwide. With our technical expertise and passion for innovation, we expanded into the marine industry, designing and installing advanced audio and video systems on some of the finest cruise ships afloat.
And this is where our crypto story begins.
Always on the lookout for new opportunities, we discovered cryptocurrency and were immediately intrigued. Recognizing its potential as the future of finance, we dove in headfirst, investing heavily in the crypto market. But our journey wasn’t without challenges. Our first attempt at crypto mining was a disaster—we fell victim to an online mining retailer scam, losing a significant amount of money.

With a passion for technology and creativity, Steve has also excelled as a technician, repairing Apple computers and integrating them into music production workflows. His diverse career has been shaped by his commitment to delivering exceptional service and treating every customer like family, a philosophy he carries into his work at WUP Access.
In 2019, Steve joined forces with Jhansen Reinoso to realize their shared vision of building one of the first legitimate crypto mining storefronts in the United States. As best friends for over 20 years, Steve and Jhansen combined their expertise to create a trusted, customer-focused company that stands out in the industry.
